Ask Sleeves - Your MP3 search engine
Ask Sleeves is a search engine focused exclusively on MP3 audio files. In the spring of 2010, while digging in the basement of a Silicon Valley mascot consignment store, I stumbled upon an incredible find. There, crumpled into a ball in the deepest corner of the basement was a pile of men's clothing with a complicated story. Although the wrinkled, discarded pile still smelled faintly of butler, there was no indication that this suit was special.

Steel Mouse Pads
It'll never work! But it does. This isn't steel with a plastic or teflon coating. This is unadulterated, hot-rolled, mild steel. It's worked into various shapes, finished smooth, burnished, and customized with your own mark, if desired. The final surface treatment enhances the function of optical and laser mice while reducing friction between the pad and mouse. The pad, over time, develops a patina that improves the feel and optical pick-up. Beyond the shapes offered, I can customize your pad design to whatever fits your desk, or imagination. Customization is encouraged.

Relaunching my publishing company with a new book!
After doing 12 books for major publishers, I revived the publishing company I started in 2007. I'm working with a handful of really awesome other authors who want to take advantage of new digital opportunities as well as print. I've been undertaking a series of interviews at Circle Into Square called 'Everybody Knows You're Not from Here' for about the last year. Subjects interviewed live in the Portland, OR, area and include Ian from the music blog Musicophilia and mastermind of the 1981 box set, the married duo of writer and comic artist Sara Ryan and Steve Lieber, rockers Wow & Flutter, and a dude we all know who really likes donuts. I've just started another series called 'Not Quite 20 Questions' with the inaugural interview being Kliph Scurlock, drummer for The Flaming Lips.

The Secret of Invisibility
My first middle grade novel has been published by Kansas City Star Books! It's the story of a boy who's never noticed by anyone—until a mysterious scroll in his new house leads to him discovering how to become literally invisible. I also illustrated it; some of the drawings are viewable here. THE SECRET OF INVISIBILITY can be purchased here on Amazon.com, or from the Kansas City Star Books website, where I get a slightly higher royalty. It's for kids, but adults will love it, too!

San Diego Mexican Food Reviews
San Diego doesn't have a food blog or site devoted to Mexican restaurants. With approximately 700 taco shops, mariscos, and Mexican restaurants in the metro area, this seems like a seriously needed resource. So............ Okay, now San Diego has a food blog dedicated devoted to Mexican restaurants.
