At the beginning of 2020 I collected some instrumentals I'd been working on under the name Trey Fontaine (an imaginary guitar player I pretend to be sometimes). I just released a sequel, imaginatively titled Trey Fontaine II. The link above goes to one of those aggregators that leads to all the streaming services. To celebrate my birthday this year, I decided to release an album. Actually, I was working on it anyway, and it ended up coinciding. Everything by me except the cover, which was drawn for my by the wonderful illustrator Viviane Schwarz. Also on Spotify, Apple Music and, I have it on good authority, all the other streaming services.

The band I'm in - Cultural Amnesia - have just released an album of instrumentals called Super Whippy. Stylistically all over the place - from pseudo-movie-music to progtronica to electronica with all sorts of peculiar stop-offs on the way. There's also a video for one of the tracks: Prod Butt Prod.

Cultural Amnesia is group I've been in since 1980. We just released an album of new material (Bad Meditation) and released for download an EP that came out a few years ago of tracks from the early 80s (Still Hungry). And there are videos. And we redesigned the ancient website. [more inside]
What I did: played guitar and some keyboards on the original track; made the video in Final Cut Pro X (along with Motion, Blender and Photoshop)
