From 1894 to 1909, a series of lynchings and race riots helped to permanently expel some African American communities and terrorize others in Southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. White Man's Heaven covers the lynchings in Monett, Pierce City, Joplin, and Springfield, Missouri, as well the violence and expulsions in Harrison, Arkansas. This is the Wordpress website I created to promote it. [more inside]
