Attack the Darkness is a table-top role-playing game, a deck-building game, and a card-drafting game all rolled into one. Your character is your deck; your cards are everything that character is and everything they can do. Designed to be simple in its components yet complex in its combinations, Attack the Darkness allows for the speed and excitement of a collectible trading card game while granting the tactics and intricacies of a table-top RPG. Designed for 1-8 players, it features 7 unique classes and supports play either with or without a GM. [more inside]
ONOPO is a reimagining of an iconic American board game. I attempted to simplify and clarify the game system, removing any thematic metaphors and other non-essential elements. Inspired by abstract strategy games, I designed a minimal iconographic system which uses as little language as possible. [more inside]
A co-op wastelands caravan card game for 1-4 players that lasts 30-45 minutes. Race for the Galaxy Vs. Magic the Gathering with a splash of euro gaming in a dirty Fallout post apocalyptic setting. This will be kickstarter.com funded and I would love any help with card ideas and mechanics. [more inside]
Happy Hour is a card game based around serving drinks. Currently in alpha/playtesting phase. [more inside]
I'm a budding game designer and am working out the rules to an Abstract Strategy Board Game... At the linked site you can see the ruleset as it exists now. You can create the pieces using coins (Quarters for large, Nickels for medium and Dimes for small) and draw a grid on paper. I have a fimo set I made. I will be uploading pics eventually. I would love any feedback in terms of gameplay experiences (if anyone decides to try playing it themselves), rules clarification (for those who may have experience in game design, those who are curious about the rules, but not necessarily want to actually play test), etc... If anyone has any sort of advice on how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate that as well. I think this has potential, but it's still quite an alpha release. Never even playtested with other people yet. I hope this is a valid entry into "projects".
