@eventuallybot
@eventuallybot is a Twitter bot that generates short films in GIF format, sourced from shreds of random YouTube clips. The films all tell stories, but sometimes the stories don't make a lot of sense.
Here's a write-up and project description on my blog . The bot also has an RSS feed which links to the original GIFs (instead of Twitter's transcoded versions).
The code makes heavy use of wgif, also previously a MetaFilter project!

This was my favorite thing about Twitter yesterday too (which granted, not a good evening for twitter) -- I look forward to these continuing.
