My book on my mountain bike adventures is out on VeloPress. I was one of the "hippie daredevils" whose goofy hobby of modifying old bikes to race them downhill turned into the modern sport of mountain biking. This is great. I haven't actually checked out the book yet (sorry), but your other links are of definite interest to me. Your site is fantastic, too, by the way.

As somebody who has (relatively) recently started mountain biking, and who rides a (relatively) simple bike—no suspension, 26" wheels, etc.—this is highly relevant to my interests. Thanks for the links, and for the book!
