Exobike: Motorcycle racing for the Commodore Pet^W^W^Wyour browser
Exobike is a silly little browser-based motorcycle racing game vaguely inspired by Excitebike as cloned on an early 80's educational computer by 14-year old me. You race along a straight track, avoiding obstacles and trying to minimize your time.

The code is open-source and available here.

I got the original idea by pestering Mefi's own cortex on Twitter during a lapse of judgment. Fortunately, he accommodated my silliness and tossed me this suggestion.

Oh my gosh, you did it! That is so, so great.

Like, seriously, anybody who is willing to build a videogame out of something I tweet at them is the opposite of pestering. You rule. You completely rule.

It ought to work on Firefox, since that was my development browser. I've tried it on several installations and they all worked fine. My guess is that you're using some incompatible extension, or that your version of Firefox is very old or very new.

Worked for me on Firefox [39.0]

Fun stuff!

oh, it's some weird issue with the "https everywhere" plugin and certain github pages, apparently. sorry. not your fault - a known issue with the plugin.
