Vermont FarmCam

In 2006, in a MetaFilter thread about a person in Norway making a time-lapse of the woods behind their house, I said:
"One of these days I will do something similar where I live."
Two months after that comment we bought our little house in the hills of Vermont, and I started playing with my own scenic webcam. [more inside]

Noon All Year ... and more

3350 days ago I posted to Metafilter Project a timelapse music video about the founding year of our little sheep farm in Vermont. Since then, the camera equipment has definitely improved ... and the videos have gotten significantly shorter.* Most importantly, the view is still awesome. [more inside]

Passport to Vermont Libraries

We're doing a program to complement summer reading in the Vermont, the Passport to Vermont Libraries. The Vermont Library Association designed a passport and made 1000 of them to give to patrons at participating libraries. Vermont has about 200 libraries (if you count publics and academics and others) and almost 100 of them signed up. You all helped me get started! [more inside]
