The year I won a year's supply of cheese
I started a little journal about what I did with the year's supply of (Cabot) cheese that I won in a contest. And then COVID hit and I forgot to finish it. I finally did. 🧀

Well that was delightful! (I haven't clicked into the AMA yet, so I have still more to enjoy later.) (Much like your year of cheese.)

I especially enjoyed your captions on the photos, which reminds me how web accessibility guidelines have made people more conscientious about using captions and alt text, and has made some people write really good ones - so thanks for the delightful captions!

You're welcome. You know, I started writing that essay before Medium even HAD alt text which is 1) why it has captions and 2) a damning indictment of how long it took them to add that feature.

I'm basically back to mostly string cheese but I do occasionally put shreddies on like frozen pizzas or garden burgers just to toss a bit more protein into them.

I'm glad to see this update! I follow you on Twitter so I remember hearing about the cheese. My cheese drawer has been an essential Covid-era survival tool so 100 lbs. sounds like a dream!
