Experience Vermont as a local, through interviews and tours
We want to introduce folks to the amazing artists and craftspeople that call Vermont home, and I’ve been interviewing them in a new YouTube series. I (and sometimes terrapin) also share a weekly tip or recipe from our own craft hobbies, primarily brewing, cooking, knitting, and dyeing. This week’s videos feature an interview with MeFi’s own Jessamyn West, and her tutorial on making your own mossarium. [more inside]
Experimental Brewing The Podcast
Denny Conn and Drew Beechum, two homebrewers with too much time on their hands, tackle a variety of subjects about brewing, the beer world, homebrewing and sloppy citizen science. It's light hearted, has a ukulele, shades of Car Talk and is all about the wackiness of beer science and the science of beer wackiness

Raging Titter Radio
This is probably as honest as I’ll ever be about what I’m trying to accomplish with my podcast, Raging Titter Radio. I have always had a lot of thoughts and I’m often overwhelmed by them. Since I was a kid, I imagined my thoughts as balloons, too many comic books I suppose. Anyway, I try to chase them down and grab them before they float away forever. The easiest way to hang onto them is to tie the strings together. If I can tie enough balloons together, I can float away. That’s Raging Titter Radio. Oh and there’s always a top notch indie band playing a great song that's thematically relevant. [more inside]
Blogologues: Younger Than Springtime
Hi all! Our company has been experimenting with this crazy comedy project in which we perform the internet, completely verbatim. We've done a bunch of one-night engagements of the project with new themes every time, and for the first time ever we have a 16-performance run. We're performing weekends through May 5th in the west village of NYC. [more inside]
My Beer Community Site
This is a craft beer blog/news/community site. All topics concerning beer are welcome. I specifically want this to evolve into a beer related forum which includes discussions of great taps found in any city as well as city beer guides and reviews. Home brewing tips and recipes, really just about anything. Please check it out and participate.
Drinking Japan
Four years ago, I mentioned a website on MeFi projects called "Nonjatta", exploring the obscure world of Japanese whisky. That project grew a bit, and turned into a exploration of all sorts of nooks and crannies of Japanese alcohol culture, which I discovered was far more complicated than a few rice wines and whiskies. I am just publishing a book called "Drinking Japan" about that research and have started a new website to go with the book (including maps of bars, references and news updates). Mefi gave me my first surge of interest in the Nonjatta website (which has grown a bit) and I thought some people might be interested.
TF2Brew
I am attempting to homebrew a beer for all of the classes in Team Fortress 2. I'm hoping to ship a box of them to the developers at Valve when the project is completed as a testament to my fandom. This is the blog where I document the planning, brewing, and tasting of those beers. [more inside]
