This is great, even though I did spend half of it shaking my head at the relentlessly bickering families.

I started playing it, thinking huh neat, I'll check this out for a little bit, then ended up not getting out of bed and playing all the way through to an ending.
That was excellently written, and the shaping aspect was delightful. You've economically captured the feel of King of Dragon Pass, without the councilors, even!

I enjoyed this too and recommended it to friends. I also wondered why it basically gave me a blank screen in Chrome, but I found it was because I had "Block third-party cookies" checked, resulting in this error in the console: "Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document." I don't know much about it, but maybe there's a way to trap that error and give people a heads up or perhaps to work around it. Anyway, I was glad I didn't give up--great work!
