Scenes from the Quarantrain
When COVID lockdown began in March of 2020 I knew I’d be spending a lot of time at home. I had begun and abandoned an HO scale train layout a few years previously and figured the time was right to re-start it. The result is The Quarantrain. Childhood memories, pop culture references, fantasy scenes, images from my warped imagination. A work in progress.
The project began by walling off part of my basement to separate it from my messy wood shop. Following that there were months of bench building, wiring, track laying and infrastructure building before I could begin building scenery.

Role: Builder
I love looking at the little worlds of train layouts. Yours does not disappoint. Good job, sir!

The "pop culture" inspired scenes are hilarious, clever and fantastic. The Trolley problem!

So what happens in the trolly problem section when the trains are actually running? Who gets flattened, or does it vary according to your godlike whim?

The trolley is non-functional. It's a static display on a short branch line electrically isolated from the main line. It's just there for the lolz.
