The Rocinante, my hand-painted ship model from The Expanse

I wanted to gift my partner a scale model of the Rocinante, the ship of the primary crew on the show/in the books of The Expanse. So I found a 3D printer who could print the ship (credited inside) and I meticulously painted the ship with every detail using reference images and stills from the show, using the Season 4 red/black/grey design. I had begun and abandoned an HO scale train layout a few years previously and figured the time was right to re-start it. The result is The Quarantrain. Maersk Container ship model made from wood

I built this single shipping container model made from wood. It was part of a larger project, but I can only take credit for this small tiny section. This single element was used as a template to fabricate the other containers that you will see in this video. I double-checked the rules. Although this has a business element, I'm only referencing the container as my project. Although I'm a manager, I do on occasion like to get my hands dirty. Clips for Hiking Poles with Hinge and Clasp

3D model of clips with a simple hinge and tension clasp. I designed these for my partner, who uses hiking poles for mobility but does not need to use both at all times. These clips allow a person to carry an unneeded pole on the one being used, keeping the other hand free. [more inside]
