10 Life Tips from Henry the Dog
"Maybe Henry’s neurocapacity didn’t allow him to dwell on the negative because, well, dog brain. But we can choose how to expend our mental energy—why waste it on something that upsets us?"
Sometimes a creature comes along when you really need it and helps you see things differently. Every dog we've fostered has taught me something and helped me get better at being a human.
This is a departure from the things I normally write and it was not easy to find a place for it, but it was really important and meaningful to me and I hope others can benefit from it, too.
