See what became of your local Blockbuster
We’ll show you what your Blockbuster became, and explore the the retail spaces that remain. A bit of nostalgic naval gazing I’m proud to have helped put together.

We recently visited Alaska and were incredibly surprised to see open Blockbuster stores there!

Well, if you'd like to turn this concept into an (obvious) series, my area's last Radio Shack just closed up and we lost the local Sears that had an 89 year history this summer and construction is beginning on replacing it with three smaller stores (including Michaels Crafts and Ross Dress for Less). Heck, even Forever 21 didn't last forever here.

Also came here to say that the Blockbuster in my childhood home of North Pole, AK is, remarkably, still a Blockbuster.
