I built a multi-plane animation stand
I’m really happy to finally finish a new multi-plane animation stand set up after two weeks of building, visiting hard ware stores, hunting for fabric and transporting heavy glass in a suitcase by bus. Link includes a time lapse video showing the building process, followed by detail shots with more information and a test shot inspired by Blade Runner.

Neat project! There's something very satisfying about spending time building something that you can then use to do other satisfying work or art.

I'd like to see some of the resulting animation.

That's Insane!!ly fantastic!!!

Long ago I had a project with an Oxbury computer controlled stand and had to write in assembly code to drive it.

The only thing to take care of is registration, that'll have you cuss'n :-)

hope to see clips.

So cool! I have no use for an animation stand... (Frantically ransacks brain for a reason to need an animation stand) ... I'd like to see the animations, too!
