Knock knock jokes via autocomplete
This bot creates knock knock jokes by hitting up autocomplete on Google. This is perhaps the dumbest bot of all time. And yet! I am compelled to share amazing jokes like these.

This project was posted to MetaFilter by cortex on July 22, 2015: "Artichoke who? Artichoke pizza!" and other robot punchlines

This is the greatest thing.

Cool, what's the implementation stack?

Oh, yeah, I meant to link the source. It's a Node app that hits up the Wordnik API for a random word, goes to the undocumented Google autocomplete API with that word, formats the joke with one of the results, does a little filtering for outright heinousness or autocomplete garbage, then posts to Twitter.

Much of the various sorts of fetching and posting is done by the various Node modules listed in the dependencies.
