Android App - Shortcuts for Waze
For some unfathomable reason Waze does not provide a built in way to add shortcuts to places (at least not that I could find, except maybe the home/work widget that doesn't work on my system). So I wrote this app to provide them.

* Use them anywhere shortcuts are accepted.
* Just search or auto-navigate
* Use exact addresses or search general terms (gas station, fast food, etc..)

Note: I am not associated with Waze in any way, except as a user of their software.

Willing to give it a whirl.

I like that both of your apps are designed to make using my phone more efficient. Too many just want to lock you into their own little world. More devs and users should appreciate the "shortcut" feature of Android.

Thanks.

Thanks @724A. I make a very concerted effort to focus on the user experience. I (and most users) just want to be able to get things done on their phones with as little friction as possible, but not every app developer has that as their goal.

Honorable mentions for this type of app are:
Shush
Notification Toggle - this one has a few usability issues during setup, but using it is soooooo nice.

Cool! Good idea in general. Anywhere you are, you can navigate to Work or Home or Mom's house. Do other map apps already do this and I just didn't know about it?

@galen, Google maps offers shortcuts I believe.
