There Are No Cats In This Book: The Movie
There Are No Cats In This Book - a reading and demonstration by the author, Viviane Schwarz, filmed by me.

Last year I did soundtrack and editing for a video reading of There Are Cats In This Book by Viviane Schwarz. Recently I made the video reading for the sequel There Are No Cats In This Book (which is a bit of a lie - actually there are lots of cats, especially at the end).

(Bonus video - I also took my camera to the book's launch)

(And I seem to prefer the term "filmed", despite the fact that there's no film involved whatsoever.)

We own the first book and my daughter approves of the new video. We've watched it twice already during story time.

"There are cats in this book" was already very popular. Of course, it's very helpful to have an education librarian for a partner—we get to, um, "sample" the available early years works before they hit the shelves :)
