Guided By Voices song title bot (@favoriteGBVsong)
My first Twitter bot project! I trained a Markov chain generator on ~2500 Guided By Voices / Robert Pollard song & record titles, and set it loose to generate fairly believable GBV song names. Song titles from the wonderful Guided By Voices Database.

I built a multi-plane animation stand
I’m really happy to finally finish a new multi-plane animation stand set up after two weeks of building, visiting hard ware stores, hunting for fabric and transporting heavy glass in a suitcase by bus. Link includes a time lapse video showing the building process, followed by detail shots with more information and a test shot inspired by Blade Runner.

Unknown Pleasures Album Cover Gif Generator
I just whipped up a little website where you can draw something in the style of the Unknown Pleasures album cover and then export it as a gif.

Demake Bot
It's another Twitter bot! This one "demakes" images, meaning it makes pixelated, low-res versions of images. It works on its own schedule but will also take requests from mutual followers.

Lorem Ipsum
I have done broad nib calligraphy for the last two years. From somewhat rough beginnings, I have gotten pretty good!

Futile Fonts
Do you like fonts based on ultra-obscure 1980s LED displays, or based on ROM dumps from the Commodore 64's pen plotter? Of course you do!

Decrypting Rita
I spent four and a half years drawing a comic about a robot lady dragged out of reality by her ex-boyfriend. It's done now. You can finally find out if she managed to get herself back together and stop that hive-mind from taking over the planet. Somehow I managed to get some amazing blurbs for it somewhere along the way...

Six years of masks
Each year for the past six years I've crafted a mask for Mardi Gras - they're all skulls, and all made out of papier-mache. Recently I decided to document all of them at once and felt it would be more appropriate to show not only the masks themselves but the costumes that go with them. The result is this composite image, put together from six different photographs of me and my masks.

all GRSSK to me
A fun, frivolous one-trick-pony Tumblr. Inspired by a Mediterranean restaurant in my neighborhood that swaps Δs for As and Σs for Es in their logo, this blog regularly publishes examples of swapped-in geometrically similar letters from various alphabets, regardless of the letters' phonetic similarity. In post descriptions, I also try and swap the original phonemes back in; thus GRΣΣK becomes GRSSK, and (mild) hilarity ensues. Submissions welcome! Shout-out to Bulgaroktonos for blog-naming inspiration.

I Split on 'your grave'
A collection of code samples in various programming languages demonstrating how to split a string into a collection of substrings using the phrase 'your grave' as a delimiter. It's hosted on GitHub so if your favorite language isn't supported, you can always submit a pull request.

Louie the Dog Horror Movie Posters
I have a dog named Louie and he's pretty disdainful of human horror movies. He doesn't get what the big deal is about vampires (not scary OR sexy), werewolves (friends!), or skeletons (yahm!). So he's making horror movies for dogs now, about things that are REALLY scary, like BATHS and VACUUMS and THUNDER. Louie hired me to design his movie posters. Unfortunately he pays me in kibble, but other than that he's a great (decent) client!

HamilIpsum
Just a little random text generator using chunks of the musical Hamilton and the WordPress plugin Any Ipsum. Because you can't get Hamilton out of your head AND you have a project that needs filler text.

A pun generator
Generates puns written in the form "You could say he they put the 'demons' in 'demonstrators.'" Written in pure JavaScript, this pun generator can provide a few minutes of amusement, and might even generate something witty and worth sharing!

Link finding things
Doo doo doo! This is Link finding things on the web and holding them up for you to see, as he does! Except he's doing it on Twitter instead of your NES, which doesn't even work unless you hold in the cartridge a certain way.

That's Not How Things Work
I made two quick-and-dirty, single-serving sites, to serve as convenient rebuttals to misconceptions that one commonly encounters on the Internet. ThatsNotHowCopyrightWorks.com is for those dopey "no copyright infringement intended" sorts of things that one sees on YouTube, etc. ThatsNotHowFreedomOfSpeechWorks.com is for those people who squeal that their fuhreedom of speech is being violated because someone disagreed with them.

Hurt (NIN Fat Angus cover)
In the spirit of #keepmefiweird, an old cover I did of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt, guest starring an Amiga 500 (well, WinUAE, as I couldn't get my own running) on vocals. Why? Considering the tone of the song, I decided to go the exact opposite direction of Johnny Cash. It's a machine almost doing an almost Shatneresque take on a painful, regretful song. (Also: you see that spike at the end? It's loud. You've been warned)

when a site asks you to sign up for their thing and then the 'no thank you' link is some hot garbage.

Cookbook Title Generator
Today's bestselling cookbooks can seem a little formulaic. The titles start to sound the same. The success of one book begets sequels, riffs and shameless wannabes. With such nakedly formulaic titles, couldn't you assemble a cookbook title by slapping together some diet buzzwords, food trends and publishing tropes? Why, yes you could!

Rule 34 - If something exists, there is porn of it.
You all know Rule 34, of course - Captain Kirk/ Captain Picard slashfic, XXX dinosaur otherkins, rubber fetish at the pickle factory, you name it... but what about the more obscure things, which might never get the sweet benefaction of Rule 34? This Tumblr blog to the rescue! Meticulously created from repurposed vintage porn magazine covers, now even such things as earbuds, potatoes, & bits of found chocolate can have porn about them. Also on the Book of Faces and the Twitters.
