Art by Josh Millard

I've been making a lot of art over the last four years—oil painting, watercolor, stained glass, linocut blockprints, recently plotter drawings as well—and I've updated and revamped my art site to collect and organize the bulk of that existing work to be a central depot for ongoing work. Content-aware concrete

I made a new website for my art practice, and, while my last show and newest work is textile-based, I thought MetaFilter might like my 2015 exhibition Screen Wall, featuring concrete breeze blocks I designed by (mis)using Photoshop's Content-Aware Fill. [more inside]

The Corey Press

I've just completed a major revamp of my website, The Corey Press, where I keep all my weird wooden blockprints. Need some medieval alien abductions? Done! Old school Pokemon battles? Sure! More Cthulhu Mythos than you can shake a stick at? You betcha. I'm really proud of my newest piece, a Mothman-inspired ouija board.

SeattleFocus: Personal Photography Portfolio

I recently moved to Seattle, and so I decided to use the move as an excuse to redesign my personal photography website. I would love to hear comment, critique and constructive criticism about my photography or the website. I am hoping to use it to both get my photography projects out there and pick up freelance work in my new home city. I have done quite a bit of freelance work back home, but this is very much a new market for me. Thanks!

Ecological artwork

I make artwork about the natural world; my most recent involves watercolor drawings of anole lizards and interactive live plant pedestals. I also have series of roadkill and dodo oil pastel drawings. As a bonus, I uploaded videos of students poking at the plants in the interactive pieces and saying things like, "I think we should light them on fire." And then doing so.

In commemoration of the opening of my Soho art show Hidden Spaces I am posting my new website. My art is comprised of graphite and monochrome color pencil works transcribed and augmented from microscopic organic forms. For further elaboration see my artist statement on my site.
