Space Cannibals
Zoom around the galaxy in a giant farting/vomiting/burping sumo robot, battling (and consuming) vicious space cannibals. It's a daft idea for a Flash game pushed completely over the top with music, animation and a storyline of conflict, betrayal and turbo-charged flatulence.
The animated bits are inspired by Battle Of The Planets, and there's a special musical reward for completing the game (plus a tiny easter egg for anyone crazy enough to get 3 stars on all levels). I'm not an animator, and struggle with illustration, but decided to use this project to push myself into giving it a go and hopefully just about got away with it.

Yeah, the collision detection is based on circles, so even though the radius is pretty generous for food it could look iffy at times.
Ideally I should've made a flashing dot appear in the middle of the scanner when the level's complete, but by the time I thought of that it was too late.
Anyway, glad you liked it, and congratulations on getting to later levels with a trackpad, there's no way I could manage that!

A couple of suggestions:
1) Make the collision detection just a bit more sensitive. A few times when I was trying to pick up the cans, it seemed that my robot's arms touched them yet they weren't picked up.
2) Have some sort of indication when all cannibals have been destroyed, even if there are still other objects to collect. That way you can go through the levels more quickly.
Thanks for posting this.
