What I Had for Dinner Tonight
Not recipes, just conversation, this blog arose from a daily ichat conversation between two foodies on different continents, which then spread further into the #mofirc irc channel... and someone *looks innocent* joked hey maybe we should start a blog..... and What I Had for Dinner Tonight was born. Your host is es el Queso - long time member of Monkeyfilter, and one keen cook. Posters come from a range of backgrounds, cooking skill sets and countries. The concept is simple - tell us what you had for dinner. Whether you cooked it, someone else cooked it or the guy down the road cooked it - have no reservations about joining in and telling us.

3 Days Later: Jesus Christ Zombie Lord
The folks at DNR Productions and Clay Robeson Creative (that's me) have set out to create the world's first (we hope) Zombie Rock Opera. A song for song parody of Jesus Christ Superstar, 3 Days Later: Jesus Christ Zombie Lord take the "Zombie Jesus" thing to a whole new level. At this point, we've shot a teaser for what we want to produce in order to try to raise some funding to shoot the entire movie this summer. But of course, no studio in their right mind would touch this with a 100 foot pole, so we have to self finance by pan handling on the internets. So go watch the teaser. If you like it, watch the LONG version of the teaser. If we still haven't made you want to hunt us down and kill us, tell your friends, and consider giving us a dollar so we can bring this baby to life.... er back to life?

What's Your Name.com?
There are many domain name blogs on the web, but only one from a community oriented, ICANN accredited registrar. Last week Name.com launched the What's Your Name.com? company blog, written by yours truly. The idea is to bring transparency to not only our company, but the domain industry as a whole. If you have questions about the industry or have ideas about topics to cover, let me know.

Photoshop Disasters
Just as the Daily WTF showcases disastrous code, Photoshop Disasters is a showcase for the most egregious examples of Art Direction gone awry. If you work with digitally enhanced images in a commercial setting please consider submitting your competitors' fiascoes, disasters and misadventures. After all, there is never a problem so severe that it can't be ridiculed.

Grok Robots
At Grok Robots I'll be focusing on the non-tech aspects of robots - robots in pop culture, the news, the arts, etc. For example, you won't learn how to build R2-D2 - but if you would like to learn how to draw R2-D2 with instructions from the Lucas folks, come on over. I launched today to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Mr. Roboto.

Befuddlr - an image puzzle game
I made this as an example while working on a book project that fell through. After sitting around for 8 months, we (Amy Hoy and I) decided to finish it off and put it off. Just pick an image, "befuddle" it and play - or use the bookmarklet for any Flickr image (or hack the url).

Illuminated Teaser
Illuminated is a new webisodic animated series I am involved with.
Many artists from my site podcollective.com (and beyond) worked to bring this lush vision to life. Set in the not-too-distant future, planet Earth is being ravaged by rampant environmental change and collapsing economies, as widespread social movements triggered by online interaction are reshaping the face of world politics. Saturated by media, people have lost their ability to dream and plug into a sophisticated communication system each night called the DreamField, which gives them access to a virtual dream-state, networked with the rest of the world. Online, dreams have become just another kind of media, and a group of dreamstars have emerged as the culture's new celebrities. Coming from an established political family, Aya is one of the most popular dreamstars, and millions plug into her dreams every night to experience her adventures through a hyper-dimensional vide-game reality, live as they sleep. The series charts Aya's coming of age as she travels with her guru, Shen, on a transformational journey to visit the most spiritually charged places on Earth - re-connecting with the wisdom-keepers of the planet and re-learning the ancient spiritual traditions to evolve her consciousness and fight to restore humanity's ability to dream.

Over-Analysis For Social Change
is the blog-byproduct of an all too liberal Liberal Arts education that has left me unable to turn on a television without wanting to write an essay about the dominant paradigm and how it should be subverted. And so I do. Write essays (with tongue firmly in cheek). And then post them on the internets.

Nominate your 2007 Word of the Year.
The American Dialect Society's word-of-the-year vote—the longest-running such vote anywhere—takes place in Chicago in January at its annual meeting. The academic society is now accepting word-of-the-year nominations at woty@americandialect.org. Word of the Year is interpreted in its broader sense as "vocabulary item"—not just words but phrases. Your nominations do not have to be brand-new, but they should be newly prominent or notable in the past year, and should have appeared frequently in the national discourse. The word-of-the-year vote is not a formal induction of words into the American language, but a whimsical affair. Nominate accordingly.

America's Next Top Novelist!
So, I make comics. The newest one is called America's Next Top Novelist; it's a comic about a reality TV show about literary fiction. It's 9 pages of awesome. Will you be the same person after reading it? Highly unlikely. And if, after finishing, you feel like glutting yourself on my other comic work, it's aggregated here.
