People Standing In Subway Doors
A rage-induced Instagram account through which I document people behaving selfishly in mass transit (specifically New York City, for now, since that's my location). This started because I'm frustrated by how bad subway and bus etiquette has gotten lately. Eventually this page will feature such platinum selling hits as: "Guy sitting on the train with a bluetooth boombox blaring" and "Lady sitting on the subway steps during rush hour." For clarification - it only counts when the doors are open. If you know how to play the "this door won't open for 7 stops" game then good on you.

Transit Battle NYC: Pretty Maps for the Subway, Bus and Rail
People in New York love the subway way more than the bus. Sure, it's okay, the bus is confusing, but what if they knew all the secret places the bus could take them faster than the subway? And there was a reaaaally nice interactive map to go along with it? [more inside]
Same Rat, Different Hat
The debut record from Out of System Transfer, a neo-old-timey band who sing punk-influenced folk songs about the assassination of William McKinley, hitting cops in the head with a brick, and riding the subway. Their sound has been compared to the Holy Modal Rounders, Mojo Nixon, and Mischief Brew.
With physical media sales becoming less viable, it made little sense to get CDs printed (plus, no one in the band even had a working CD player), but it also felt wrong to forego the great potential offered by album covers and liner notes, not to mention the feeling of having a tangible thing for fans to have. Thus, the record was released as a zine, (also bundled with the download as a pdf) with original artwork commissioned for each song by various Brooklyn-based artists. [more inside]
The Ankh-Morpork Undertaking Map
I made an Undertaking (subway) map for Ankh-Morpork, set about 50 years in the future (from canon “now”). I took some liberties with names of places, given the time gap. For instance, Dolly Sisters has become Dollisters, the Whore Pits has become Harpits. Locations are based on the canonical Ankh-Morpork map.
