My late-middle-grade / YA urban fantasy novel about the ghosts of Seattle is free to read online. It follows Mira, a ghost who frees herself from the tether that bound her to the place where she died. Mira learns a terrible secret about the ghosts of Seattle and decides to do something about it. Hello! UX Launchpad is a one day design course in Seattle. The event is built with non-designers in mind, and so far we've had a great blend of developers, PMs, fine artists, and interaction designers looking to learn more. Classes are designed to be small and hands-on.

random bits from the past via Seattle newspapers (1900-1984), mainly helmed by crasspastor and myself. Not all the content relates to Seattle, but it is all content that a Seattle resident would have been exposed to. A mashing together of eras and topics (with the occasional commentary), generally leaning more towards the forgotten/"trivial" and less towards the obvious moments of history. [more inside]
