The Museum of All Things Awesome and that Go Boom has a world-class collection of artifacts, equipment, weapons, clothing, disguises, letters, taxidermied kills, holodeck simulators based on actual memories in amber, exotic life forms, artwork, vehicles, technologies, listening devices, and memorabilia and insignia designed, manufactured, or used by swashbucklers, pirates, ninjas, adventurers, privateers, spaceship commandos, illuminati, and intelligence organizations now and in the past. Someone loaned us a house for the season and we made a small natural history museum. Admission is free, our exhibits are focused on Caribbean flora and fauna (it is located in Grand Case, St. Martin) and we are producing short films to show in our theater space at the museum. [more inside]
Having found myself with a few moments of free time, I sculpted a life sized Tatzelwurm exhibit for the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.
A little over a year ago, a technology museum in a Boston, MA suburb, The Charles River Museum of Industry suffered a severe flood, with more than a foot of river water on the main exhibit floor. Restoration and cleanup are still ongoing. We are looking for Boston area companies to sponsor a team (8 people), that will represent them in a one day challenge to build and fire large scale medieval traction trebuchets. [more inside]
