Our farmer friend culled his flock of chickens and we went out to help. I wrote up a description of how to turn a live chicken in to something resembling what you would pick up at the supermarket. Successful sustainable agriculture doesn't depend on being totally serious all the time, but proper hoeing technique helps. Once you've mastered that you can take care of those pesky hornworms and then learn to move forage animals with greater ease.
