Evaporating Shorelines

This is a documentary film, regarding Great Salt Lake in Utah. Proposed expansion of Great Salt Lake minerals, offers to destroy much of the wetland environment of the lake, in tandem with water diversions from all sides. Shirley Gorospe sank her personal monies into making this film. I donated images along with other Utah photographers. The Army Corp of Engineers has OK'd projects on the lake with little to no oversight. Classic case in point is the ill-advised railroad causeway, that belted the lake across the middle and modified the halves of the lake, making the north half useless for brine shrimping.
