My band the Dustys have a new website to showcase the songs we've been recording for the past year (instead of touring). We'll be releasing a new video and song every few weeks. We're especially excited about the video for Blueberry, which we shot in Montana with a cast of many!
I have discussed THUNDER SOUL on MeFi Projects previously when we were premiering at SXSW. The documentary is about the Kashmere Stage Band, the greatest high-school funk band of all time. The film tells the band's amazing story in the 1970s, and follows the band members in the present day as they come back together again to play a reunion concert for their incredible band leader Conrad "Prof" Johnson. I just wanted to let MetaFilter know that we will be screening at the Edinburgh Film Festival, the Seattle Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Film Festival in the upcoming month in case any of you are able to come to the screenings.
