Male Tears: A collage comic book about thwarted privilege

A cursed relic of our revolting age, Male Tears remixes vintage comic book imagery into a verbo-visual slurry for your shame or amusement: forty pages of thwarted privilege, humiliating failure and unchecked emotions exploding into weeping and/or violence. [more inside]

Random Generators

When I get bored, I make random generators. Mostly story/plot or art prompt generators, but there's also one for pub and tavern names, and a collaboration with Yoon Ha Lee on a Tarot-type card reading generator based on the Machineries of Empire series.

A made a comic about a dog. That dog is a knight.

You can read the first issue here: The Book of Biscuits #1 Interested in any feedback. If you really dig it, then you can pick up a copy here: http://www.indyplanet.us/product/150457/ but you certainly don't have to. If you're feeling extra adventurous, you can check out my other comics here: Most of them are free!

EveryName.info | An unordered list of every name

I don't know why it's never occurred to me to post to Projects before, so here is the latest and dumbest: an unordered, endless list of names. All the names there are.

A Collection of Artisanal Memes

A Facebook photo gallery of painstakingly hand drawn (on Android phone) internet cartoons I'm calling "artisanal memes." I produced these two dozen original illustrations working like a demon over a roughly one week stretch of time. [Alternate link: DeviantArt] [more inside]

Fauxtoshop CC: haven't you always thought that photoshop was missing a "rainbow penis" tool?

a student-made painting app in the tradition of Kid Pix: one that embraces chaos, randomness and amateurism instead of pixel perfection. All brushes in this app were created by students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the 'New Media Crash Course', Spring 2016 (don't worry, not really NSFW) [more inside]

Houndton Tabby

In anticipation of the season 3 premiere of Downton Abbey, I've begun a series of portraits based upon the memorable characters from the show. Depicted as dogs and cats, naturally. I am selling them as prints in my Etsy shop.

Botaday

A daily posting of art and humor. I have been working on it since 2005. I have recently (last four months) doubled-down on it, stopped maintaining two other blogs and have tightened up my act and my artwork. [more inside]

Photos By Nathan

Our three year old just figured out how to use our digital camera and steals it while we aren't looking. These are his pictures. Hipsterized. I ran them through PicYou, and named them as pretentiously as possible. The outcome is more interesting and funny than I could've imagined.

Submit a made up video game and I'll make your box art.

Every week, I ask the strangers of the internet to submit the title and short description of a video game that doesn't exist. I'll then draw the box art for someone's pretend game and post the results each Saturday. A semi-dorky blend of lulz-y photoshop practice and a heartfelt love for video games.
