Songs About Dinosaurs - Professor Goldstein and the Adjuncts
MefiMusic Alum makes good with a pop punk progressive-ska Weezercore old school concept album.

Professor Goldstein & The Adjuncts: a 7-piece party rock group from the DC burbs who's influenced by ska punk, dad rock, indie folk, and Weezer. The band comes complete with rhythm section, horn section, and hype (no figures sold separately.)

From bandleader Aeryn: "This is Songs About Dinosaurs. It is an album where Ananth's mix shows that 186 million years is still a cohesive stream of time. It is an album where Jan's solos bring the mightiest creatures to ever walk this planet to life. It is an album where Miles' horn lines connect us to the speculative stories of the past in a way that we tell narratives in the present. It is an album where I try to make sense of the world around me by doing what I haven't stopped doing since I was three: talking about Dinosaurs!

I hope this record brings some semblance of whatever you need at the moment. Putting it out in the open after writing it in 2019 certainly feels like a sense of closure for me."

From Mefite frecklefaerie: I am so proud to be part of this amazing piece of art. I'm the "band elder" but connect with half the band because we went to the same High School and had the same band director nearly 20 years apart. I want to thank Mefi Music for their support and keeping me active in music when I didn't have another outlet. I'm really proud to share this with everyone!

And not to thread sit, but the album is also on Spotify. Best way to give it a boost is to add some songs to a playlist!
