My new thriller, Floor 24, is now available.
Floor 24, a Hitchcockian thriller, is available from Oliver-Heber Books.

It has been seven years since my last novel.

Set in 1920s Manhattan, Alan Priest, reporter for the New York Evening World, is walking down the street when a pen falls in front of him, shattering at his feet. The barrel has name of Carolyne Fritch Designs and an office address on the 24th floor. He investigates to find the office empty, the window open and now, looking down to the sidewalk below, he sees the corpse of a woman.

Alan is accused of the murder and with the help of the mysterious gentlemen's club hostess, Lorraine Marquette, they confront underworld figures and Broadway stars to clear his name.

I consider Floor 24, the first of a three book deal, to have literary ambition. Set in 1920s Manhattan, skyscrapers play a symbolic role as characters. I posted a discussion of its themes in my blog.

As part of the publicity for the book release, I recorded myself interviewing the main character, Alan Priest. That interview is available here.
