Brain Tape
Dogg, it is brain tape since young times. A deep dive / sacred reading podcast around the seminal webcomic Achewood, specifically the arc known as The Great Outdoor Fight. One of us knows everything about Achewood, the other knows basically nothing. Which one of us is Beef and which one is Ray is still undetermined.

So myself and fellow MeFite Rosemary have been co-hosting podcasts since 2020, and as a lark on one of our recording days, we put together the first episode of what would be Brain Tape. The premise is that I know nothing about Achewood, reading only as far as I need to record the podcast, while a large chunk of Rosemary's brain has been dedicated to encyclopedic Achewood lore.

Each episode, we read the comic as deeply as we can, trying to suck the marrow out of the bones Chris Onstad has laid before us. We're now seven episodes in, we're starting to pick up steam, and we'd love for folks to give a listen.

(Also, is there a place I can find the theme tune? It's pretty kickass.)

@transitional procedures
Oh hey! I composed, performed, and recorded the theme song. Here's the longest clean version of it that exists: ta-da

I wrote and recorded only what I needed for the first episode, but I've been (very pleasantly) surprised to hear that people like it and have considered re-recording and/or re-mastering it a bit. I'm a better musician now, and my voice is (as evidenced elsewhere) considerably different. Maybe for season 2!

Really glad you like the show, thank you for your kind words <3
