The Takedown Notice : Music Podcast
Hi! The Takedown Notice is a podcast where five former-college roommates get together to talk about music.
Our musical tastes skew toward the mainstream, roving everywhere from the Rolling Stones, Slayer, MF Doom, Journey, Big Mama Thornton, Neko Case, Spoon, HAIM and many more.
Episodes come in two flavors: singles and album. In the singles version, everyone picks a single song and we discuss what we thought of the selections. The album version is similar, but we keep the discussion to one pre-selected album.
We try to keep each session fun, interesting, and informative. Our editor, Aaron, has a real ear for the flow of conversation and does a bang-up job keeping everything tight. We've released seven episodes so far (tough we've recorded a few others that didn't make the cut). If you don't want to start from the beginning, I think episode five is where we really hit our stride and should be a good place to start.
We're all really proud of what we've done so far and I hope you can take a few minutes to give it a try. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Thanks!
