Not a Real Job - business podcast
My friend Joel and I host a weekly podcast called Not a Real Job, where we discuss online marketing for small businesses and entrepreneurs. It's roughly 20–30 minutes a week, so it's perfect for your commute. It's funny, a bit goofy, and (hopefully) useful.
The two of us have been working in online marketing for the past decade, and have lots of opinions and advice for new marketers and small business owners. More importantly, we have made lots of mistakes, and share those on the show. We take listener questions, discuss our own projects, and tell lame jokes.
In many ways, the show is a shorter, business-focused version of My Brother, My Brother, and Me. We're huge MBMBaM fans, and we definitely get a lot of inspiration from them. If you're familiar with that show, you'll probably like us too.
We're 34 episodes in, so there's plenty of audio for you to listen to. Our favourite episodes include "Snowman-Based Theology", "Making Time For Marketing", "My Brother, My Brother, and Me (and Us)", and "It's Christmas!".
