Pulp Apologies
This started off as me tinkering with a Tumblr idea called Pulp Silence -- golden age comics panels with the dialogue balloons blanked -- but I got curious about what else I could put in these balloons. and one thing led to another.
I'm still working on the format a bit, and my HTML/PHP/CSS skills are negligible, but this is a good first run at something I'm really starting to enjoy doing. I'm slowly getting better at finding ways to clean up the dialogue balloons without compromising paper texture, and integrating the copy without it being jarringly awkward, but results still kind of vary.
