I produced a horror movie called YOU'RE NEXT. It comes out this weekend in the US, and in the rest of the world over the next few weeks. Critics even like it, which is pretty rare for a horror film these days. So if you like horror movies, go see it. If you don't like horror movies, go see it anyway and help support MeFi's own me.

Oh, man, I've been seeing ads for this all over Los Angeles, and wondering what it was about. Now I'll be sure to check it out.

Saw a posted for it in the local theater today, meaning it's got to have nationwide release. Very good!

I'm excited to see this posted here, because I've been seeing promos for it (in DC, FWIW), and I've been on the fence because it really did look like it might be really really good, but so few horror movies live up to the previews. You've convinced me, I'll go check it out this weekend.

I just got back from seeing it. Bravo, kcalder-- you've knocked this one out of the park. Terrific characterization and sense of place, and it really adds to the corpus of home invasion horror. A little heavy on the shaky-cam for my taste, and I spotted a typo in the closing credits ("Assitant Legal"), but otherwise terrific. I'll be recommending this one.

Horror movies aren't my thing... and the ads, which were pervasive on Hulu totally creeped me out, further convicing me not to go!
