I feel alone
A public art project where people who use Facebook anonymously share their experiences of feeling alone.

Please let me know if you have questions, comments, or feedback. If you feel alone on Facebook, I encourage you to contribute to the project by submitting a photo.

This makes me feel pretty uncomfortable. Are users dragging photos of third parties? It'd be highly unsettling for an innocent browser to come across their photo there.


Artistically, I absolutely love it.

I am thinking of taking the site down and creating it in a different way. Maybe simpler. Upload any photo and overlay a sentence or two to express feeling alone, on Facebook or whatever context.

Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

I ran a test and added a photo. It is just the robot from Lost in Space, so fee free to delete it as I just wanted to see how it works.

Anyway, as just an operational thing, the photo addition dialog being right in the middle of the page is sort of annoying. It would be nice to be able to turn it off and on or located it in a different place.

Also not sure about the privacy issues. I noticed there was extensive blurring of photos which is good, but maybe an explanation as to how that works would be nice.

I agree with lampshade, the "add photo dialogue" in the middle of the screen like that is not good. In fact, it makes me not want to look at the page at all.

Otherwise, neat idea.
