Decrypting Rita
Is she a robot? A cyborg? An upload? That doesn't matter. What matters is that she's sleek and fast and elegant. Or maybe what matters is the human woman who shares her name and some curious parallels to her life.
When I broke up with the man who was doing the scripts for Five Glasses of Absinthe, I found I still wanted to do comics. I didn't want to work on that one for a while (though I still want to finish it); after a few weeks, this is what came out. My best quick description so far is "Saul Bass reads entirely too much Philip K. Dick then does a guest issue of Spiderman" but it's really very much its own thing.

Role: artist, author
I will see what I can do to make the nav a bit more obvious when I have some free time - I've been juggling this, a dance performance, and now an animation piece. SO MANY IDEAS SO LITTLE TIME. and a hard conversation to write on the next page, that is very important to the narrative.
