Great futurism design porn! Like the contrasting simplicity of the blog design.

minor-i-am-a-jerk-who-cant-stop-re-cssing-everything-nitpick: I think the captions look better if you remove the border, italics and left margin, i.e.:
blockquote {font-style: normal; border: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0; margin-top: 20px;}
