Medical Writing Blog
Some of my early AskMeFi questions were about medical writing as an alternative career for someone with a science PhD. I followed the advice in that post and was then able to get fulltime jobs at medical communications companies. Later, I eventually transitioned away from those fulltime jobs into freelance medical writing. As a way of “paying it forward,” I’ve created a blog for people who may have similar questions and have posts that answer questions such as “How do you get hired at a medical communications company” or “How can you find clients for a freelance medical writing business?”

If you want to make a transition into medical writing, either as a fulltime employee or freelancer, and still have questions after reading the blog, please feel free to send me follow-up questions in an email/ memail, and I may even create a blog post answering your question(s).

Also, I’d love to do exchange posts with other people in the industry, whether you are a general freelance writer, medical writer, or even if you work in the industry (from medical communication companies, biotech, or pharmaceutical companies). Thank you.
