Docvert converts Office files to nice, clean, HTML
Think the 'save as html' feature in Word is criminal false advertising? For the past few months I've been busy updating my opensource conversion software and it's now 3x faster and compatible with a wider range of quirky .doc files.
Most of the the effort was in porting it to Python (away from PHP) and adding a lot of tests to ensure that it converts documents accurately.
If you're so inclined you can contribute to the project at Github or if you've got any questions just let me know...
