Curiosity Quarterly, Issue 1
Curiosity is a new literary journal published by the Raven Book Store in Lawrence, Kansas. Issue one includes contributions from metafilter members Miko, COBRA!, luckypozzo, and Lentrohamsanin, as well as illustrations by Noel Tuazon and Adam Koford, and myself.

We are looking for original articles, comics, and illustrations for upcoming issues. The themes of next few issues are: the macabre; harvest; coincidence; things that have disappeared; and backyards. Articles should be under 2000 words, but longer pieces will be considered. We are not looking for poetry or photography. Please download the first issue here (or purchase it!) to get an idea of the feel of the journal. In addition, we are looking for short pieces in the public domain on these themes—if you find something good on Project Gutenberg, you will be credited with the find.

Thrilled to be included in this first issue, and wanted to add that the purchase price for the paperback version is well worth it. It's beautifully printed and bound and appealingly sized - a very good quality publication. Looking forward to the issues to come!
