Countries left out of Google Maps
I created a Google Earth and Maps file that shows the de facto independent countries that are left out of the program. I posted it on the Google Earth board.

I don't use Google Earth at all so I can't comment on that aspect of your post. But I'd like to compliment your blog in general. I really like the maps, and LOVED watching this video: http://catholicgauze.blogspot.com/2006/10/changing-map-of-europe-from-world-war.html

A European history lesson in 5 minutes. I'd like to see the continuation of that from 1994 - 2009 as it (or does it) becomes a central mass emanating from Brussels towards the Eastern edges.

Thanks for the link to "Where Europe Ends" too!

Thanks Galen! Here's a link to view the map without downloading anything
