This Is Hollywood
A collection of three-chord rock and roll songs based on my experiences as a homeless teenager in Hollywood at the time of the Los Angeles riots.
All of these songs were initially posted to MetaMusic when they were first written, and this is a project-in-process, so the music on the site is the roughest scratch demos possible. But I will be starting to play this songs around the Twin Cities (and, hopefully, beyond), and, as the project develops, documenting it on the site.
To be honest, I was 21 when all this happened, so wasn't exactly a teen, but, in the strange classification system used to address homeless in Hollywood at the time, I was young enough to be taken care of by services set up for teenagers.
