Hard Casual Gamer
The gaming news/discussion site for video gamers who want more than Match Three In-A-Row, but less than a 70-hour romp through Liberty City. Staff writers include MeFi's own Cortex and nthdegx!
A few tweaks still to be done to the interface here and there (login screen is still ugly), but the framework is there and we're now posting new content (almost) daily!

I own a PC, a PS3, a Wii and a DS. And I have a full time job and a fiancee which requires attention. So gaming, once my main love, is now a secondary pursuit to everything. But I still try and find time to fit it all in. I even have a schedule. What I don't have a lot of time for is playing games which require me to donate my whole weekend to getting past a level. I had that kind of time when I was an unemployed kid/student. Now I just want to play, enjoy, move on.
So yeah, this is pretty much right up my alley. And when you add cortex into the mix (dude wrote an amazing chapter of the MeFi collaborative novel, hopefully due out around Easter 2009), you have yourself a new, dedicated reader.
I'm adding your site to my daily grind of game related news. With your distinct focus on my kind of gaming, you may well replace Gamespot & IGN as my most trusted review source. Here's hoping, anyway.

This site seems about my speed of gaming, too. Except recently, that is.
Damned roommate had to go and get Harvest Moon for the Wii for my girlfriend. Now there is a nigh constant rotation of the three of us sitting in front of the tv for hours, ostensibly because we each have to "make sure the chickens are alright".
