I realize this has the original authors in mind, but I feel like you've just nudged some weird and fantastic territory: fantasy publishing leagues. Bookies forming and trading rosters of novels and biographies and coffee-table books and then obsessing over performance over time...

I would like to second the nomination for fantasy publishing leagues based on this website. Great idea, cortex. Also, neat site, though it will probably be a long time before I can use it.
