An organization focused on photographic rights.
After Chip Py was stopped from taking photos on what everyone thought was a public street we all discovered that Montgomery County had sold off their citizen's property and rights for $1 a year. When is public space not really public? When the government pumps millions of development money into it and hands it over to a private corporation to manage.
We think this is unacceptable. Public money equals public space. We'll be out for a photo outing in Downtown Silver Spring, Maryland on July 4th at Noon to show that we believe civil rights aren't something you should have to be granted by a corporation.
The chronology, detailing Chip's initial harassment though the Peterson Companies' partial capitulation, is all on the Free Our Steets website.
