It's a zombie apocalypse rogue-like/sim, where you direct survivors in saving others. Think FTL+Dwarf Fortress+Zombies. It's fairly early in development, but I think it's at an enjoyable stage where near limitless zombie stories play out before you.

Are you ready for the next zombie attack? Can you survive all of the many dangers, both undead and human? A new online quiz has been published on the Zombies of the World website to help educate the public. The quiz assesses personality, skills, and attitudes toward the undead and other survivors in order to determine how likely the individual is to survive in a zombie attack.

We've recently released our first original smartphone game, Zombies, Run! It's a running game and audio adventure for iOS (and soon, Android) where you run in the real world while getting story and instructions through your headphones. As you run, you also get chased by zombies (so you need to speed up) and you automatically collect supplies that you can use to grow your home base, Abel Township. Today, we also launched our free 75 page book, The Runner's Guide, with more background on the world of Zombies, Run! plus the script and audio for Mission 1. [more inside]

Zombies of the World reveals the undead to be a valuable part of our ecosystem and the key to new discoveries in medicine and technology. Few outside the scientific community even realize that creatures like the Egyptian Mummy (Mortifera mumia aegyptus) are actually zombies. Some species are even harmless to humans. Our new web series provides tips on surviving the paranormal. Think "This Old House" meets a zombie apocalypse survival guide. The first episode involves zombies. Future episodes involve ESP, evil robots, vampires, campground slashers, and more. And we're having a contest to help spread the word. Enjoy.
