Artpal!
Artpal! is a podcast I created about, well, art. Season 1's 9 episodes act as a guerrilla audioguide to a group of objects on display at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (although I wrote them with the idea that you could also just listen anywhere and look at images online if you wanted). Show's available on iTunes and Google Play, as well as streaming at the site.

Basically, I try to talk about interesting aspects of the art, artist, or general context, sometimes getting into stuff that the museum can't really touch in its official interpretive materials. Artists covered in season 1 include: Chuck Close (and his baggage), William Howard, William Edmondson, Morris Kantor, Georgia O'Keeffe, Kehinde Wiley, George Morrison, Alexa Horochowski, and a bunch of others!

This is great! I listened to these yesterday as I did my own museum work -- they're really engaging, and now I want to listen to them the next time I'm over at MIA (sorry - Mia).
